EVERYONE WATCHES WOMEN’S SPORTS™ — 2025 WALL CALENDAR

Role: Art Direction + Design Support
In Collaboration with: Rookie Made
Category: Consumer Products

The Everyone Watches Women’s Sports™ calendar had become one of TOGETHXR’s most requested and best-selling products, and a chance to turn a full year of women’s sports into something fans could enjoy month by month.

For the 2025 edition, we partnered with illustrator Rookie Made to create 12 original scenes celebrating the athletes, communities, cultural moments, and tentpole events that define the women’s sports calendar.

THE CONCEPT: A YEAR IN WOMEN’S SPORTS

Instead of illustrating individual sports, we treated each month as its own story. Uniforms, settings, cultural references, and easter eggs let fans discover familiar athletes and moments without naming them outright.

MONTH BY MONTH BREAKDOWN:

JANUARY — WINTER SPORTS
A celebration of winter sports inspired by marquee athletes like Chloe Kim and Eileen Gu.

FEBRUARY — NATIONAL GIRLS & WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY
A nostalgic locker room imagining some of today’s biggest athletes as kids, with their future jerseys hanging above them. Sport-specific flags and details reference Simone Manuel, Simone Biles, Alex Morgan, Sue Bird, Coco Gauff, Sha’Carri Richardson, Angel Reese, Ilona Maher, Hilary Knight, and more.

MARCH — TOGETHXR HALL OF FAME
Women’s History Month meets TOGETHXR’s birthday through a fictional Hall of Fame celebrating the women, history, and culture that paved the way.

APRIL — MARCH MADNESS
Final Four fever in Tampa, with nods to JuJu Watkins and Paige Bueckers on the court, Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird behind the mic, and Dawn Staley repping Everyone Watches Women’s Sports™ from the sidelines.

MAY — HOCKEY PLAYOFFS
A celebration of the PWHL postseason and the continued rise of professional women’s hockey.

JUNE — THE WOMEN’S SPORTS BAR
For Pride Month, we imagined a neighborhood women’s sports bar inspired by Portland’s The Sports Bra, filled with Pride details, subtle LGBTQIA+ references, and Portland easter eggs down to the iconic PDX carpet.

JULY — DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH
A community park filled with people experiencing sport in different ways, from recreational softball and volleyball to wheelchair basketball, celebrating access, participation, and the joy of play.

AUGUST — US OPEN
A packed tennis scene filled with generations of the sport and pop-culture spectators, with references ranging from Billie Jean King and Serena Williams to Aryna Sabalenka, and familiar faces like Sue Bird, Megan Rapinoe, Zendaya, and Tom Holland in the crowd.

SEPTEMBER — TRACK & FIELD
A celebration of speed, strength, and personality with visual nods to Sha’Carri Richardson, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Valarie Allman, Nikki Hiltz, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and more.

OCTOBER — WNBA FINALS
The Finals take over New York, bringing together references to Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, and some of basketball’s most recognizable courtside fans, including Spike Lee, Jason Sudeikis, and Aubrey Plaza.

NOVEMBER — NWSL CHAMPIONSHIP
A celebration of the present and history of women’s soccer, featuring references to Trinity Rodman, Mal Swanson, Temwa Chawinga, Sophia Wilson, Sydney Leroux, and generations of legends watching from the stands.

DECEMBER — TOGETHXR NEW YEAR
The year ends with a New Year’s celebration featuring TOGETHXR’s co-founders in a nod to their iconic launch suits, a five-candle birthday cake celebrating five years of TOGETHXR, and a room ready to welcome 2026.

ART DIRECTION + DESIGN

I led the art direction for the 2025 calendar, working with Rookie Made to shape the concept for each month and the athletes, moments, and easter eggs inside every scene.

The challenge was packing a full year of women’s sports into 12 illustrations that rewarded a closer look, so fans could keep spotting new details all year long.
