EWWS Live Special Chicago Theatre

Everyone Watches Women’s Sports LIVE

Role: Head of Design
Type: Live Podcast, Experiential, Brand Identity, Partnership
Presented by: J.P. Morgan Wealth Management
Location: The Chicago Theatre
Event: WNBA All-Star Weekend

During WNBA All-Star Weekend, TOGETHXR brought its flagship podcast, Everyone Watches Women's Sports™, to The Chicago Theatre for its first-ever live special, presented by J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Hosted by Sam Jay and Ari Chambers, the one-night event brought athletes, industry leaders, and fans together to celebrate the stories, culture, business, and future of women's sports, with guests Alysha Clark, Terri Jackson, Dwyane Wade, Sue Bird, A'Ja Wilson, and Kristin Lemkau.

The challenge was to translate the podcast's identity into a live show that could fill the Chicago Theatre while still feeling unmistakably Everyone Watches Women's Sports.

THE CONCEPT

From the studio to the stage. We expanded the podcast's bold visual identity, built mostly for screens, into a complete event world across one of Chicago's most recognizable venues.

The theatre itself became part of the campaign, from the marquee and exterior signage to the stage, screens, environmental graphics, and promotional materials.

THE CHICAGO THEATRE

One of the most exciting parts was seeing the EWWS identity take over an iconic venue. Our signage system covered the exterior and interior, including marquee boards, theatre doors, the VIP lounge, directional signage, stage and screen graphics, drink menus, and a photo backdrop.

PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN

The experience began well before doors opened. Our launch plan announced the live special and drove ticket sales, from a Chase Cardholder presale to the general on-sale, carrying the event identity across social and digital.

SOCIAL CONTENT EXTENSIONS

The conversation continued beyond the stage through a short-form social series centered on financial education and athletes’ real-life experiences with money.

Made for TikTok and social, it brought athletes into quick, candid conversations about their first big purchase, managing money, investing, building long-term wealth, and the advice they wish they’d gotten earlier.

The format turned themes from the live show into approachable, personality-driven content, giving J.P. Morgan Wealth Management a natural role in the conversation beyond the room.

ART DIRECTION + DESIGN

I led the art direction and design that took the Everyone Watches Women's Sports podcast identity to its first live special, spanning the event's visual approach, Chicago Theatre signage and venue branding, stage and screen graphics, and the promotional campaign.

The central challenge was scale. The identity had to work as well on a social post as on the theatre marquee and behind talent on stage. Building on the podcast system and J.P. Morgan Wealth Management’s brand guidelines, we expanded the show’s visual language for a one-night live event without losing the recognition it had already built.

The result took EWWS from a podcast identity to a live entertainment brand.
