WHERE I COME IN
I had the challenge of rebranding this six-year program from the ground up. As the PR & Marketing Director, myself and the executive board decided that rebranding to UO Miracle was necessary to promote how important the cause as a whole is rather than just the event itself.
UO Miracle, formerly known as Dance Marathon, is the largest student-run philanthropy on the University of Oregon campus and is an organization that I am very proud to be a part of. We are "FTK" – For the Kids! We support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by fundraising all year long for the patients and families in the NICU.
People at the UO weren't attracted to the words "dance" and "marathon" (big shocker).
The UO Miracle Logo combines the aesthetic of the Children's Miracle Network logo with our school "UO." This symbolizes how intertwined the UO is with the cause.
Below is a collection of the design work I'ver done throughout my time involved with the organization.
On January 25, 2014 UO Miracle announced the total amount fundraised for the kids: $33,770.12
